NINE personnel of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) have been promoted to head agent (HA) positions, a bureau statement announced.

Promoted to HA were Virgilio C. Reganit (Agent-in-Charge, BAYDO), Normando B. Anire (Chief of Staff, ODDROS), Gregorio S. Zuñiga Jr. (Acting Chief,CTD), Alexander G. Bautista (Acting Chief, AGD), Christopher Lyndon N. Godinez (Executive Officer, OD);

Atty. Giselle O. Garcia-Dumlao (COS, OAD for Legal), Joey B. Moran (Chief, IOD), Paul Alain M. Moises (Executive Officer for Operations, CAR), and Heli B. Tiu (Agent-in-Charge, LAGDO).

According to NBI Officer-In-Charge Eric Distor, the new HA were selected out of 46 qualified applicants who were considered for promotional appointment based on the qualification standards set by the Civil Service Commission (CSC).

They have undergone rigorous screening and evaluation process by the NBI-Human Resources Promotion and Selection Board (NBI-HRMPSB), Distor said.

On June 17, 2022, Distor administered the oath to the newly-promoted agents.
