7 held for P295K drugs in Bulacan stings

CAMP Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga — Seven suspects yielded over P295,000 worth of shabu on Saturday in separate drug-busts while three wanted felons were arrested in intensified Bulacan police operations.

In a report submitted to PRO3 director Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr., Bulacan police director Col. Relly Arnedo said several entrapment operations led to the arrest of seven drug suspects and confiscation of some some P295,520 worth of shabu and marked money.

The first operation conducted by the CSJDM police in Bgy. Graceville, CSJDM resulted in the arrest of Sherwin Dela Cruz, 41, and the seized P272,000 worth of shabu weighing at least 40 grams and the bust money.

In San Rafael, the anti-drug operatives arrested Rodrigo Dionisio alias Daryl, 54, and Napoleon Ligamzon alias Jay-jay, 48, in Bgy. Ulingao, where six sachets of shabu amounting to P3,400, a .38 revolver with 4 live bullets and the marked money were confiscated.

The Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of Sta. Maria, Bocaue and Hagonoy police arrested Marjay Espiritu, Reynaldo Gimeno, Edilberto Tuazon, and Rico Coronel after they yielded a total of P23,120 worth of shabu.

Meanwhile, the tracker team of Sta. Maria police and 1st and 2nd PMFC apprehended three persons wanted for various crimes.

Hidalgo commended the Bulacan police for their successful police operations as Arnedo vowed an unwavering commitment to their campaign against illegal drugs, crime and in maintaining public safety in the province.
