5 nabbed in Bataan drug raid
LIMAY, BATAAN — A drug den in Barangay Landing, this town was raided on Tuesday which led to the arrest of five suspects and confiscation of over P400,000 worth of shabu.
PDEA Central Luzon regional director Bryan Babang identified the suspects as Ernie Tanarte, 51, of Bgy. Townsite, Limay; Alberto Aguilar, 40; Mark Anthony Cuevas, 35; Frankie Olarte, 30; Jocelyn Liwanag, 39; all of Bgy. Landing.
Babang said the operation was conducted by combined elements of the PDEA Bataan provincial office and Limay police.
The operation yielded at least 60 grams of shabu with an estimated street value of P420,000, assorted drug paraphernalia; and the buy-bust money.
The five suspects, now detained at the PDEA-3 in the City of San Fernando, Pampanga, will be charged with violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
