AROUND P3.5 million worth of suspected shabu were seized in separate buy bust operations in Quezon City on Wednesday.

In the first operation, the suspect was identified as Cristopher Laguras Adao, 44, of No. 38, Laura St., Ramos Compound, Brgy. Matandang Balara, Quezon City.

PLTCOL Robert Amoranto, Station Commander of Kamuning Police Station (PS 10), said a buy bust operation in coordination with Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) was conducted after a concerned citizen reported the drug peddling activity of the suspect.

A police officer acted as poseur-buyer bought P55,000 worth of shabu from the suspect. Adao was arrested carrying 475 grams of shabu worth P3,570,000, one smartphone and the buy-bust money.

In the second buy-bust, arrested were Christopher Inay Laviña, 38, of No. 1234 Blumentritt St., Sampaloc, Manila, and Rocky Duro Denoso, 34, of Bldg. 34 Temporary Housing Vitas Rd. 10, Brgy. 105, Tondo, Manila.

Confiscated from their possessions were one gram of shabu worth P6,800, two smartphones and the buy-bust money.
