3 members arrested for drugs in Parañaque

THREE members of a family allegedly engaged in illegal drug trading business were arrested in a drug sting operation launched by authorities in their home Wednesday evening in Paranaque City.

Southern Police District (SPD) Director P/BGen. Jimili Macaraeg said elements of Paranaque StationDrug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) under the supervision of city police chief P/Col. Maximo Sebastian, Jr seized P2,040,000 worth of illegal drugs from the suspects identified as Angela Doronilla Arichea alias Angel, 49, widow, Rene Doronilla Robido alias Ton, 26, Food Panda delivery driver and welder Razal Valdez Doronila, 38, all residents of Blk. 8, Lot 7, Scoop St., Fourth Estate, Brgy. San Antonio.

Macaraeg said the buy-bust operation was launched by operatives of SDEU at around 11:15 p.m., supported by elements of Police Sub-Station, following a week-long intelligence built-up and monitoring operation.

Police recovered from the suspects a total of 300 grams of shabu, including a medium-size plastic sachet of shabu which is the subject of sale, the marked money consisting of P1,000 genuine bill placed on top of 300 pieces of P1,000 boodle money and two cellular phones being utilized for drug transactions.

“SPD is committed to dismantling illegal drug groups maging ito man ay isang buong pamilya. It is a serious threat to our families and community. Hindi ko hahayaan na masira ng ganitong mga tao ang konsepto ng pamilya bilang pundasyon ng mabuting pag-uugali at values”,BGen. Macaraeg said.
