KAMPO HENERAL PACIANO RIZAL – Two suspected street-level “pushers” were nabbed in two separate anti-illegal drug operations conducted in two barangays in Sta. Cruz, Laguna Tuesday and yesterday morning.

Police Colonel Cecilio R. Ison Jr., acting Provincial Director of Laguna Police Provincial Office (PPO), reported to P/Brig. Gen. Antonio C. Yarra, Regional Director 4A Calabarzon (Cavite/Laguna/Batangas/Rizal/Quezon), the arrest of two drug suspects.

One female suspect of Bgy. Patimbao was captured and yielded three grams of shabu valued at P20,400.

The 2nd male suspect was arrested at Purok 5 Bgy. Sto. Angel Sur, Sta. Cruz, Laguna, and police recovered 3.5 grams of shabu from the suspect, valued at P23,500.

Both suspects were listed on the “Street Level Individual” (SLI) watchlist of drug personalities and are now in the custody of the police stations for violation of R.A. 9165 Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002.

“The entire Laguna Police Provincial Office is very serious in our fight against illegal drugs. From street level to high-value targets, we will come after you; you have no place in Laguna Province,” said PCol. Ison Jr.
