12 members of farmers group withdraw from NPA

CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga – Twelve members of Liga ng Manggagawang Bukid (LMB) and Alyansang Mangbubukid sa Gitnang Luzon (AMGL) under the Kilusan ng Magsasaka ng Pilipinas (KMP) on Saturday withdrew their support to the CPP-NPA-NDF and denounce terrorism in Nueva Ecija.

Brig. Gen. Matthew Baccay, PRO3 director, said the 2ND Provincial Mobile Force Company together with other police units in Nueva Ecija and different government agencies facilitated the withdrawal of support of members of the Alyansang Mangbubukid sa Gitnang Luzon (AMGL) identified as “Domeng”, 36; “Nante”, 44; “Jun”, 36; “Marites”, 29; “Joyce”, 43; “Nelia”, 63; “Mely”, 47; “Fernan”, 61; “Nida”, 63; “Marietta”, 61; “Milagring”, 64; and “Hilar”, 63.

The event was highlighted with the signing of “Oath of Allegiance.”

“I am once again urging those who are still actively fighting the government to lay down their arms and embrace other peaceful means to attain their sought after changes. Our government has several programs to retool you so that you could all become even more productive members of our society,” Baccay said.
