A woman in her mid-twenties was shot and killed by a still unidentified assailant in broad daylight Saturday in Pasay City.

Pasay City Police Chief P/Col. Cesar Paday-Os said he already ordered a manhunt against a lone killer who brutally murdered the victim, described as about 25 to 30 years old, 5 feet 2 inches in height, with tattoo on the right leg and wearing black stripes sando and orange shorts.

The incident, according to Paday-Os, happened at around 12:30 in the afternoon while the victim was standing at the corner of O.C. Laurel and Decena Streets in Bgy. 96.

A still unidentified suspect suddenly appeared and shot the victim once in the head at close range.

Responding elements of Pasay City Police led by P/Cpl Bryan Jonas Agasino and P/Cpl John Ray Bravo rushed the victim to the Pasay City General Hospital where she was declared dead upon arrival.
