Thousands benefitted from VM Nieto’s health program
MORE than 20,000 Manila residents already benefited from the health and wellness program launched by Manila Vice Mayor Yul Servo Nieto.
Last April 1, Vice Mayor Nieto conducted his 14th Medical Mission under his program “Araw N’yo, Serbisyo Ko! Big Medical Mission”, where 1,023 Manilans were given free medical and wellness assistance bringing a total of 20,472 individuals benefited from the program since it started on June 30, 2022.
The medical consultation and distribution of free medicine, eyeglasses, performing minor surgery, and wellness services such as free haircut, facial, massage and many others were carried out at Zone 50, District 4, Bgy. 503 in Sampaloc, Manila.
Nieto said he launched the free medical mission, together with Asenso Manileño led by Mayor Dra. Honey Lacuna, to help lessen the health burdens of poor Manila residents. With him were Councilors Atty. Krys Bacani, DJ Bagatsing, Doc Louie Chua, Atty. Lady Quintos, Science Reyes, and Joel “JTV” Villanueva.
