Tanza offers jobs to seniors, PWDs
TANZA, Cavite – An estimated 1,000 senior citizens and Persons With Disabilities (PWDs) residents of Tanza had the opportunity to find work after they recently participated in a local recruitment activity conducted by the Public Employment Service Office (PESO) of the Tanza local government.
A courtesy lane was given to senior citizen applicants in collaboration with the SM Store and PESO Tanza.
Aside from the additional income, this is a “visible opportunity” for senior citizens to earn a living once again using their skills.
The SM Store clarified that senior citizens and PWD applicants will also go through the proper process.
According to Mayor Yuri Pacumio, 80% of the workforce of the opening of SM Tanza is expected to come from their town.
The opening of SM City Tanza located at Antero Soriano Highway in Bgy. Daang Amaya II will the the seventh SM Mall in the province after SM City Bacoor, SM City Molino, SM City Dasmariñas, SM City Trece Martires, SM City Rosario, and SM City Imus in Bgy. Bucandala.
