Sting nets HVT in Angeles City
MEMBERS of the Angeles City police arrested a “high-value” drug target in an entrapment operation in Bgy. Santa Trinidad, Angeles City, Pampanga.
In a report to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr., Angeles City police director Col. Amado Mendoza identified the arrested suspect as Nilson Carreon alias “Dagdag,” of Purok 3 Villapaz, Barangay Santa Teresita, Angeles City.
Carreon was caught near the Sipag at Tiyaga gasoline station on Pampang Road in Bgy. Santa Trinidad.
Seized from him were four plastic sachets containing shabu worth at least P408,000 and the marked money.
The suspect is facing charges for violation of Sections 5 and 11, Article II of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
“I commend our troops for a job well done. This goes to show that we will have no let-up in our waging battle against illegal drugs, which is also in line with the BIDA program of the DILG (Department of the Interior and Loca Government),” Hidalgo said.
