FOLLOWING the downgrading of COVID-19 status in the National Capital Region to Alert Level 1, the Supreme Court yesterday increased its on-site working capacity to 100 percent starting March 1.

In a memorandum order, SC offices, however, with limited working space shall operate under 80 percent on-site working capacity.

The official working time will be 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday.

Employees who are not required to be on-site shall be under work-from-home arrangement, the order continued.

Also, justices shall determine the number of staff reporting on-site in their respective chambers.

The head of offices with 80 percent on-site working capacity shall deter who among their personnel shall report on-site, which can be under rotation.

The individual health conditions of those reporting on-site will be thoroughly checked upon entering court premises. They must not have even the slightest symptoms.

The personal filing of pleadings and other court submissions shall continue to be allowed.
