LAKAS-Christian Muslim Democrats (CMD) vice presidential aspirant Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte said she will continue President Rodrigo Roa Duterte’s Build, Build, Build (BBB) program and anti-illegal drugs campaign if she wins in May 2022 elections.

“Isa sa mga programang susuportahan natin ay ang pagpapatuloy ng Build, Build, Build. Sa pamamagitan ng mga programang ito, tuloy tuloy rin ang pagsulong at kaunlaran sa ating bayan dahil sa magandang epekto nito sa ating ekonomiya,” Duterte said in her speech before thousands of members of the El Shaddai movement on Saturday.

El Shaddai, the biggest Catholic charismatic movement in the country, on Saturday nightendorsed the candidacies of Duterte and her running mate former Sen. Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, Jr. of the Partido Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP)

Brother Mike Velarde, El Shaddai’s founder, raised the hands of the UniTeam tandem before thousands of members during a fellowship prayer meeting held in Parañaque.

The Build, Build, Build is a flagship program of the current administration which has opened doors for investments and been boosting the country’s economy.

The program was led by former Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Sec. Mark Villar, who is now running for a seat in the Senate under the Uniteam.

In its five-year implementation, the program has already constructed over 30,000 kilometers of road, more than 150,000 classrooms, more than 5,000 bridges, flood control structures, and other major infrastructure projects. It has also generated 6.5 million jobs for Filipinos.

Duterte said the government’s battle against illegal drugs will also be continued.

Duterte also said that although they know that there will be some challenges if they are elected, they are still confident that the Uniteam’s core value to unite the Filipinos will help them face any trial in their administration.

“Naniniwala ang UniTeam sa kapangyarihan ng pagkakaisa. Kung tayo’y nagkakaisa, magkakaroon tayo ng lakas. At sa ating kolektibong lakas, marami tayong magagawa at malayo ang ating mararating,” Duterte said.
