SANDRO Marcos has kept his huge lead in the congressional race, favored by a majority of respondents in this month’s RP-Mission and Development Foundation (RPMD) survey.

Based on the latest survey Ferdinand Alexander “Sandro” Marcos, the son of former Senator Bongbong Marcos and candidate for the Ilocos Norte-1st district congressional seat, currently leads the race with a 65% voter preference.

Sandro Marcos is thirty-three points ahead of incumbent Congresswoman Ria Fariñas as she only received 32% voter preference. The three percent remain undecided.

The survey was conducted independently and without commission from April 28 to May 2, 2022 with 1,000 registered voters with a margin of error of 3% (+/-).

Sandro also came up on top of RPMD’s survey conducted last April 17-21, 2022, with 62% voter preference.

He is expected to go up against Congresswoman Ria Christina Fariñas, the current representative of the province’s first district.

This is the first time Sandro Marcos, the son of Presidential frontrunner Bongbong Marcos, is seeking a political post.
