THE San Juan City government distributed livelihood packages to 420 Persons who Use Drugs (PWUDs) on Monday at the San Juan City Hall Atrium.

San Juan City Mayor Francis Zamora said the beneficiaries are a mix of currently enrolled and graduates of San Juan City’s rehabilitation program.

They have shown commitment to change and have cooperated well in the program.

The PWUDs received one sack of 50 kilograms of rice, hygiene kits, three dozens of eggs, three bags of groceries containing canned goods, coffee, milk, noodles, biscuits, cupcakes, cooking oil, and condiments.

This is part of San Juan’s effort to maintain its having 100 percent of its barangays drug cleared as they apply by next year to PDEA to be declared as a drug-free city.
