CALOOCAN City Team Aksiyon at Malasakit mayoralty candidate Along Malapitan and Mayor Oca Malapitan who seeking the city’s first district congressional post expressed their heartfelt gratitude to President Rodrigo Roa Duterte (PRRD) for his praiseful remarks during the PDP-Laban National and Local Grand Rally held last Tuesday in North Caloocan.

“Ang gusto ko sa mga Malapitan, madaling malapitan,” President Duterte said in his speech when he formally endorsed the candidacy of Along Malapitan following his announcement of support for all the candidates of PDP-Laban Caloocan and Team Aksiyon at Malasakit-District 1.

The President also revealed in his message before thousands of people who attended the event in an open area of Congressional Road, Bgy. 173 that he will only support candidates who have principles and really working hard.

For his part, Along Malapitan said he was honored to be endorsed by President Duterte, along with his father, Mayor Oca Malapitan.

“Nais ko pong gamitin ang pagkakataong ito upang magpasalamat sa ating Pangulong Duterte para sa kaniyang hindi matatawarang suporta sa PDP-Laban at sa Lungsod ng Caloocan,” the younger Malapitan said.

“Mahal na Pangulong Duterte, sa ngalan po ng 1.7 milyong mamamayan ng Caloocan, kami po ay taos-pusong nagpapasalamat para sa lahat ng programa ng inyong administrasyon na tunay na nakatulong at napakinabangan, higit na ng mga simpleng mamamayan,” Mayor Oca Malapitan added.
