PNP receives P7.1-M worth of equipment from AFPMBAI

THE Philippine National Police (PNP) this week got more than P7.1 million worth of communications and mobility equipment from the Armed Forces and Police Mutual Benefit Association, Incorporated amid their continuing partnership.

The donations include two vehicles and IT equipment consisting of 55 desktop and 30 laptop computer sets worth P7,130,200.00 turned over by the AFPMBAI to the police force as part of its corporate social responsibility programs.

PNP chief, General Benjamin C. Acorda Jr. expressed his deepest gratitude to the AFPMBAI for their exceptional commitment to ensuring the operational readiness and effectiveness of the police force.

He also emphasized that the donated resources will not only benefit the PNP but also the communities they serve.

“The improved mobility and technological capabilities will enable the PNP to address various security challenges, promote public safety, and foster closer cooperation with the public,” the top cop said.

Acorda assured that the resources provided by AFPMBAI will be utilized to their fullest potential.

“The PNP will ensure their proper maintenance and judicious use to achieve their shared goals. Upholding the principles of integrity, professionalism, and service, the PNP is committed to executing their responsibilities guided by the principles of “Serbisyong Nagkakaisa,” he said.

AFPMBAI is an organized mutual benefit association that provides security, protection and meaningful financial solutions for members of the PNP, the AFP, the Bureau of Fire Protection, the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology and the Philippine Coast Guard.
