THE city government of Caloocan received a P1 million grant from the Caloocan City Filipino-Chinese Chamber of Commerce (CCFCCC) to effectively strengthen the implementation of the local government’s existing vaccine initiative against the threat of pertussis, commonly known as the “whooping cough”.

City Mayor Dale Gonzalo “Along” Malapitan expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the Chamber for always supporting the programs of the city government and for having a genuine heart to help the citizens of Caloocan.

The local chief executive hoped for the Chamber to continue its partnership with the city government and likewise reiterated his call on his constituents to take personal precautions against pertussis.
