HINDI otorisado ng Kamara de Representantes ang paggamit ng special protocol 8 license plate, ayon kay House Secretary General Reginald “Reggie” S. Velasco.

Ayon kay Velasco ang Kamara sa ilalim ng pamumuno n Speaker Ferdinand Martin G. Romualdez ay walang pinapayagang miyembro ng 19th Congress na gumamit ng numero 8 plaka.

“These plates hold no official sanction from the House and are not to be considered legitimate,” ani Velasco.

Mayroon din umanong kasunduan ang Kamara at ang Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) na hulihin ang mga motorista na gumagamit ng plakang 8. Dapat din umanong kumpiskahin ang naturang plaka.

“The unauthorized and illegal use of special plates is a matter that should not be tolerated, as it poses a threat to public safety and undermines the integrity of the vehicle registration system. We urge all individuals to comply with the law and refrain from engaging in such activities,” saad ni Velasco.

“We expect all Members to uphold the highest standards of integrity and adherence to the law. We remain committed to ensuring accountability and transparency within the House of Representatives, and we appreciate the cooperation of all parties involved in upholding the rule of law,” dagdag pa nito.
