PA cadets dominate Visayas Leg of ROTC Games 2024
CADET athletes from the Philippine Army emerged as the top performers in the recently concluded Visayas qualifying leg of the Philippine Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) Games 2024, held in Bacolod City.
The Philippine Army cadets amassed a total of 204 medals, comprising 74 gold, 60 silver, and 70 bronze medals.
The Philippine Navy cadet athletes also showcased remarkable talent, securing a total of 129 medals, including 43 gold, 35 silver, and 42 bronze. Meanwhile, the Philippine Air Force cadet athletes earned an impressive 149 medals, with 20 gold, 44 silver, and 51 bronze.
Sen. Francis ‘Tol’ Tolentino, who serves as the Honorary Chairman of ROTC Games, congratulate all the cadet athletes for their outstanding performances and sportsmanship.
Tolentino also expressed his gratitude to all local government units that hosted the various venues of the competition.
The Mindanao leg is scheduled for June 23-29 in Zamboanga City, while the Luzon leg will be held in Indang, Cavite, from July 28 to August 3. The national championships are set for August 18-24 in Indang, Cavite.
