NCRPO seeks public’s help in tracking down Pasig robbers

Wanted1NATIONAL Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) director, Major General Vicente D. Danao Jr. yesterday called on the public to help them track down the two armed suspects in the multimillion-peso heist in Pasig City last Saturday which led to the arrest of four Taguig City policemen.

“We call on the cooperation of the public to help us arrest the suspects who are still at-large by giving us information on their whereabouts in case they happen to spot them,” said the Metro Manila police director.

The two wanted suspects were identified as dismissed NCRPO member Ferdinand Pajila Fallaria and civilian Roel Galan. Both were identified as the cohorts of the four Taguig City police personnel who were arrested in connection with the reported P30 million robbery at the house of a Japanese national in Sta. Elvira Street in Barangay Kapitolyo, Pasig City.

“Any information regarding their whereabouts, please contact Pasig City Police Station at 0921-892-2950 (Sun), 0998-598-7880 (Globe) or 8447-79-53,” said the NCRPO director.

Danao said that information may also be forwarded to the NCRPO Text hotline numbers Isumbong Kay RD NCRPO (Globe) O915- 888- and (Smart) 0999-901-8181.

“Rest assured that the identity of the informants will be kept in utmost confidentiality,” he said.

Acting on orders of Philippine National Police (PNP) chief, General Dionardo B. Carlos, the NCRPO director has ordered a thorough investigation into the Pasig City heist and ordered the relief of the four Taguig City policemen who are now under restrictive custody by their superiors. some P30 million in cash.

“This is dismaying This is unacceptable. I cannot accept any excuses for this act, robbery-extortion,” the Metro Manila police chief said.

The PNP and the NCRPO condemned the robbery-extortion allegedly involving the four policemen who are facing criminal and administrative charges that will merit their dismissal from the force without pay and other benefits.

Southern Police District (SPD) director, Brigadier Gen. Jimili L. Macaraeg said the suspects identified as Staff Sergeant Jayson Bartolome, Corporals Merick Desoloc and Christian Jerome Reyes and Patrolman Kirk Joshua Almojer, all assigned at the Taguig City Police Sub-Station 1 were arrested for their role in the robbery incident on 8 Sta. Elvira Street in Barangay Kapitolyo, Pasig City 12:10 a.m. Saturday.

Another suspect identified as civilian John Carlo Atienza was killed in an ensuing shootout with responding policemen while two others identified as dismissed Police Officer 2 Fallaria and Galang are still being hunted.
