Motorcycle driver, back rider dead in Batangas mishap
The driver and his back rider died on the spot when the motorcycle they were riding accidentally collided with a speeding truck while traversing the highway in Rosario, Batangas Wednesday evening.
Rosario Municipal Police Station chief Lt. Col. Constancio B. Malaluan Jr. identified the fatalities as Daryl Gervacio y Dela Torre and Analyn Gervacio Cornejos.
Initial investigation conducted showed that the Racal motorcycle was driven by Gervacio and, along with his back rider Analyn, was heading east en route to Rosario town proper around 8 p.m. on May 5 when it accidentally collided with the oncoming Isuzu Truck driven by Ferdinand Almadrones y Dealagdon who was traversing the west direction en route to Ibaan town.
As a result of the big impact, the motorcycle driver and his back rider were tossed off and landed on the road pavement.
Police investigation is ongoing.
