Motorbike rider crashes into tractor head, killed
A 34-YEAR-OLD motorcycle rider was killed after he crashed into the rear of a tractor head Saturday before dawn in Makati City.
Alan John Ramos, of Block 4, Lot 3, Phase 9, San Severo Subdivision, Brgy. Salinas 1 Bacoor, Cavite was rushed by a Barangay San Isidro Rescue ambulance to the Pasay City General Hospital where he was declared dead upon arrival due to severe head and body injuries.
Makati traffic investigator P/Cpl. Dan Sherwin Joven said the accident occurred at around 1:40 a.m. along Osmena-Buendia Flyover while both vehicles were heading towards south.
The tractor head driven by Gomer Auxillo, 35, of Block 33 Brgy. 12, Caloocan City was ahead of the Yamaya XMax motorcycle being driven by the victim when the accident occurred.
Auxillo told police traffic investigators that while he was descending a ramp of the Buendia flyover, he was surprised when the motorcycle crashed into the rear portion of his driven vehicle.
He was presented to the Makati City Prosecutor’s Office for inquest proceedings for reckless imprudence resulting in homicide and damage to property.
