Inalmahan ni Morissette Amon ang blind item tungkol sa isang singer na disappointing ang performance sa isang event.

Ayon sa Facebook post ng event director na si Vic Sevilla kamakailan, naimbitahan sa isang event ang singer at siya ang direktor.

“Naturally, we were expecting no less than a fiery performance from her. Sadly, her much-vaunted vocal power appeared to be missing that night,” sabi ng event director.

“She seemed zapped of energy, acted uninterested, and sounded distant and cold. It was as if all enthusiasm escaped her the moment she stepped on stage.

“It was disappointing given that performers of her stature and popularity demand a hefty price to appear in corporate events. At the very least, she could have faked enthusiasm to cheer the audience up and not act as if she wanted to get off the stage in haste,” sabi pa ni Sevilla.

Bagama’t walang pangalan, binanggit niya ang salitang ‘phoenix’ kaya naman ang hula ng lahat ay si Morissette ito.

Sa kanyang Instagram Story kahapon ay inalmahan ng singer ang naturang blind item.

Ayon kay Morissette, hindi sana siya magsasalita tungkol sa nasty rumors subalit unfair naman kung isang side lang ng story ang mababasa ng mga netizen.

Hindi umano niya kilala ang taong nag-post ng naturang blind item at hindi niya alam kung bakit ganito na lang ang hatred nito sa kanya para sirain ang kanyang craft.

Aminado si Morisette na hindi niya talaga naibigay ang 100 percent sa kanyang performance at ito ay dahil hindi maganda ang kanyang pakiramdam.

Paliwanag niya, before the event, bedridden siya but because the show must go on ay pinilit niyang makadalo.

Nag-take umano siya ng steroids for her voice na ginagawa niya talaga sa mga ganitong emergency cases.

“I performed as planned, again, not a hundred percent, but rest assured I gave my all even congratulating the awardees on stage and still belting my heart out,” paliwanag ng singer.

“I have pretty high standards for myself, especially when it comes to my craft, but I knew then that there wasn’t really much I could do because I am, in fact, still human and get sick and have down days, too.

“So let this be a lesson to all of us to really take care of ourselves and stay away from unnecessary negativity,” saad pa ng tinaguriang Asia’s Phoenix.
