Mga tatay mahalaga sa pamilya, komunidad
KINILALA ni Speaker Ferdinand Martin G. Romualdez ang kahalagahan ng mga tatay hindi lamang sa pagtataguyod ng kanilang pamilya kundi maging sa pagpapaunlad ng komunidad.
“As we gather to celebrate Father’s Day, I want to extend my heartfelt greetings to all the amazing fathers, grandfathers, and father figures throughout our nation. Today is a special day to honor and appreciate the incredible love, sacrifice, and dedication you show every day,” ani Speaker Romualdez.
Bilang isa ring ama, sinabi ni Speaker Romualdez na naiintindihan nito ang saya at ang mga hamon na kinakaharap ng mga ito.
“Being a father myself, I understand the joys and challenges that come with this role. It’s not always easy, but the smiles, the laughter, and the moments of pride make it all worthwhile,” sabi pa ng lider ng Kamara na mayroong mahigit 300 kinatawan.
Inalala rin ni Speaker Romualdez ang kanyang ama na si dating Leyte Gov. Benjamin Romualdez na nagturo umano sa kanya ng mga aral na kanyang nagagamit ngayon sa buhay.
“I am deeply grateful for the invaluable lessons my own father taught me and the strength he showed in times of adversity. His legacy lives on in the values he instilled in me, and I strive to pass those same values on to my children,” sabi pa nito.
Sa pagdiriwang ng Father’s Day, nanawagan si Speaker Romualdez na alalahanin din ang mga ama na hindi na natin kapiling.
“Their love and guidance continue to shape our lives and inspire us to be the best versions of ourselves,” sabi pa ng lider ng Kamara.
“To all fathers out there, thank you for your boundless love and unwavering commitment. You are the pillars of strength in your families and in our communities. May you be celebrated not just today, but every day, for all that you do. Happy Father’s Day!” dagdag pa nito.
