LAKAS-CMD vice presidential candidate Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte has assured residents of Caloocan City that they will not be left behind in the economic development of the country and will be treated equally with any Filipino.

The vow was made by Duterte during a mammoth rally held in Caloocan City on Saturday night which was led and spearheaded for the UniTeam by the father-and-son tandem of Caloocan City Mayor Oscar “Oca” Malapitan and Congressman Dale Malapitan.

According to Mayor Malapitan, the rally, which followed a day-long motorcade that was also joined by the senatorial candidates of the Uniteam, was the biggest political gathering in Caloocan City that he has seen in the 30 years that he has been in public service.

In her previous visits to other parts of the country, Duterte, who is running with presidential candidate former Sen. Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, Jr. of the Partido Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP) has assured that no Filipino will be left behind in the country’s march towards peace and progress under the BBM-Sara leadership.

During the rally in Caloocan City, Duterte assured local officials and the city residents that the BBM-Sara tandem will continue the programs on infrastructure development and anti-illegal drugs of her father, President Rodrigo Roa Duterte, who will be leaving office in June this year.

“We also commit na ipagpatuloy ang mga reporma na nagawa ni Pangulong Duterte sa ating bansa, ang pagpapatuloy ng infrastructure development o ang ‘Build, Build, Build’ at ang pagsugpo ng krimen at droga sa ating bansa,” she said.

The Lakas-CMD vice presidential bet said she and Marcos wanted to give a concrete meaning to the word unity that is why the UniTeam was formed.

“Bakit po UniTeam ni Bongbong Marcos at Sara Duterte? Kasi po, gusto namin lagyan ng mukha ang kasabihan na ‘in unity, there is strength.’ Gusto naming ipakita na malakas ang Pilipinas dahil nagkakaisa tayong lahat,” Duterte said.

The Davao City mayor also asked the city residents to vote for the UniTeam’s senatorial slate.

“Ipinapakiusap namin sa inyo na tulungan natin sila na ilagay sa Senado. Lahat silang nagsasabi, meron silang lakas na tumulong para sa ating bansa,” Duterte said.
