The statement came from Pasay City Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano following the filing of her certificate of candidacy on Monday, October 4, at the local Comelec office at Level 2 South Entertainment SM Mall of Asia under the banner of the ruling PDP-Laban.

Mayor Emi was accompanied by her husband Egay and eldest daughter Dr. Nicole in filing her COC for a second term as the city mayor with Boyet Del Rosario as her running-mate.

Also joining Mayor Emi are elder Brother, Congressman Tony Calixto and the rest of “Team Calixto” including Councilors Mark Calixto, Grace Santos, Tonya Cuneta, Ambet Alvina, Marlon Pesebre and Ding Santos for District 1 and Councilors Joey Calixto-Isidro, Donna Vendivel and Wowee Manguerra as well as Angelo Arceo, Jen Panaligan and Zeng Dela Torre Padua for District 2.

Mayor Emi expressed confidence that greater things and economic progress are ahead for Pasay, and she intends to lead her people there once she is reelected.
