Mangaldan receives 3 more dump trucks from nat’l gov’t
THE municipality of Mangaldan in Pangasinan received three additional dump trucks from the national government on Thursday, Oct. 21.
This is due to the initiative of Presidential Adviser for Northern Luzon Secretary Raul Lambino, in cooperation with Vice Governor Mark Ronald Lambino and Mangaldan Mayor Marilyn Lambino.
Lambino on Saturday (Oct. 23) expressed her gratitude to President Rodrigo Duterte and Senator Christopher “Bong” Go for their unwavering assistance to the local government of Mangaldan in delivering quality and efficient government services to the people.
“We thank President Duterte, and Senator Go for their continuous support to our municipality. These new dump trucks will benefit our communities and the people,” Mayor Lambino said.
The mayor said since Duterte assumed office in 2016 and Go in 2019, support has been received by the town by providing all types of assistance that would benefit the people in Mangaldan.
To date, the town has five dump trucks that can be used for the town’s waste management as well as for emergency response to disasters, and other purposes.
“These (new) dump trucks will be a huge help in our daily operations as it will speed up our collection of garbage in the municipality,” Lambino said.
The dump trucks were brought to St. Thomas Aquinas Parish church and were blessed by Rev. Fr. Rafael Cruz.
The blessing was attended by Mayor Lambino, some members of the Sangguniang Bayan of Mangaldan Councilors Atty. Joseph Cera, Aldrin Soriano, and Christopher Romero, along with some department heads of the local government of Mangaldan.
