Man held for guns, ammo in Rizal
A MAN was arrested by joint operatives for possession of guns and ammo during the implementation of a search warrant in his residence on 30 Cornez Lopez and Magsaysay Avenue, Bankers Village, Phase II, Barangay Sta. Cruz, Antipolo City, the other day.
Antipolo City police identified the arrested suspect as Jannsen Dela Rosa.
Oplan Paglalansag OMEGA was launched by joint elements of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) led by PLTCOL Agosto P. Daskeo together with Antipolo City Police Station and Rizal Provincial intelligence Branch (RPIB). They implemented a search warrant against Dela Rosa for violation of Republic Act 10591 issued by Executive Judge Miguel S. Asuncion of the Regional Trial Court in Antipolo City.
Seized from the suspect were an Escort Magnum Shotgun, Glock 17 made in Austria with attached Venom scope, shotgun bag, 27 bullets for a 12-gauge shotgun, 20 live ammo for a cal. 9mm, Roni Kit for Glock 17, shotgun ammo belt and magazine, lower receiver Elisco cal. .56, extension receiver for a cal. 5.56; buffer spring, railing for M16, barrel, recoil spring, recoil spring guard, recoil spring cap, three hammer springs for a cal. 45, a black box of cleaning kit and three pieces of the handguard for a cal. 5.56.
