TUWANG-tuwa ang KathNiel fans ng dating magkasintahang Kathryn Bernardo at Daniel Padilla nang makita silang magkasama in one frame para sa awiting “I’ll Be There For You” bilang bahagi ng Christmas special ng ABS-CBN na pinamagatang “Forever Grateful: The ABS-CBN Christmas Special 2023” na ginanap sa Araneta Coliseum last Wednesday, December 13.

Sina Kathryn at Daniel ay parehong prized stars ng Star Magic ng ABS-CBN at kung ginusto nila ay puwede nila itong tanggihan o kung hindi man ay puwede silang mag-request ng solo number o di kaya ay duet with other stars pero nanaig ang kanilang pagiging professional at ginawa nila ang duet number as if walang problema sa kanilang pagitan. Ito bale ang unang pagkakataon na nagharap at nag-perform nang magkasama ang dating magkasintahan magmula nang pareho nilang aminin ang kanilang break-up through their respective IG accounts nung November 30, 2023.

NAPAKASUWERTE ng US-based film producer na si Benjie Manansala Cabrera ng BMC Films at ang Smart Films dahil pumasok sa sampung official entries ang pelikulang “Broken Hearts Trip” sa 49th Metro Manila Film Festival na matutunghayan ngayong Pasko, December 25 hanggang January 7, 2024. Ito’y pinagbibidahan ng award-winning actor na si Christian Bables mula sa pamamahala ni Lemuel Lorca.

A day before the second and final presscon ng pelikula na ginanap sa Centerstage Events Place in Mandaluyong na pag-aari ni Direk Brillante Mendoza ay dumating galing Los Angeles, California ang bagong film producer na si Benjie.

Umaasa si Benjie na tatangkilikin ang “Broken Hearts Trip” ng mga manonood para masundan pa ang pagpu-produce niya ng pelikula.

Bukod kay Christian Bables, tampok din sa “Broken Hearts Trip” sina Marvin Yap, Petite, Iyah Mina, actor-director Andoy Ranay, Teejay Marquez at iba pa.

Venus ikinasal na sa non-showbiz boyfriend

Si Venus ay nagtapos ng Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Arts major in Journalism sa Bicol University in Legazpi City (cum laude) and took her master’s degree in Community Development sa University fo the Philippines kung saan siya nagtapos nung 2012. She also graduated from Oxford Centre for Christian Apologetics (OCCA) in Oxford, England nung June 2021 for another course.

She was crowned Bb. Pilipinas-Universe in 2010 and represented the Philippines sa 59th Miss Universe pageant where she placed 4th runner up. In 2008, she also joined Miss Earth Philippines where she won the Miss Philippines Eco Tourism title.

She entered showbiz for a while at naging bahagi siya ng dating morning program ng ABS-CBN, ang “Umagang Kay Ganda” kung saan siya nanatili sa loob ng ilang taon from 2011 to 2016. She also became part ng “ASAP” from 2011 to 2013 at nakagawa rin sila ng ilang pelikula tulad ng “Pridyider” in 2012 and “Slumber Party” in 2013. Nang mag-quit siya sa showbiz, nag-concentrate siya ng pag-aaral at community service.

Ryan pumanaw na

SUMAKABILANG buhay na ang American actor na si Ryan O’Neal nung nakaraang December 8, 2023 sa edad na 82, this was announced by his son, Patrick O’Neal.

“My dad passed away today with his loving team by his side supporting him and loving him as he would us,” mensahe ni Patrick.

“My father Ryan O’Neal has always been my hero. I looked up to him and he was always bigger than life,” dugtong pa niya.

Si Ryan ang leading man ni Ali MacGraw sa 1970 global hit movie na “Love Story” and he popularized the line “Love means never having to say you’re sorry”.

His break out role came nang siya’y maging bahagi ng ABC soap opera na “Payton Place”. He played and athlete in “The Games” movie at it was the writer Erich Segal ang siyang nag-recommend sa kanya na maging lead actor ng romantic drama na “Love Story” which brought him to stardom.

Bago dumating ang kanyang acting career ay nag-train siya bilang isang amateur boxer.

He was first married to actress Joanna Moore mula 1963 at sila’y nag-divorce nng 1967 at sumunod dito ang actress na si Leigh Taylor Young from 1967 to 1974. Five years later ay naging sila ng “Charlie’s Angels” star na si Farrah Fawcett nung 1979 to 1997 at muling nagkabalikan from 2001 up to the time of her death in 2009. Farrah died on June 25, 2009 of anal cancer. He fathered four children at kasama na rito sina Tatum, Griffin, Patrick at Redmond James. Sina Tatum at Griffin ay anak niya sa kanyang first wife na si Joanna Moore, si Patrick sa kanyang second wife na si Leigh Taylor Young habang ang bunsong si Redmond ay anak niya sa namayapang si Farrah Fawcett. He also had romantic relationships with Hollywood stars tulad nina Ursula Andress, Bianca Jagger, Anouk Aimee, Jacqueline Bisset, Barbra Streisand, Joan Collins, Diana Ross, Anjelica Huston at Melanie Griffith.
