The largest transport network vehicle service (TNVS) alliance in the country praised the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) for allocating more than 10,000 TNVS slots, at the same time as the alliance said that the agency’s move will help in the availability of opportunities and work in Metro Manila as well as nearby areas.

According to the TNVS Alliance of the Philippines (TAP), “the new slots will open economic opportunities to our countrymen who continue to look for other sources of income after the pandemic period.”

“We can’t wait for the new TNVS drivers to enter our community to provide safe and convenient transportation services that every Filipino deserves,” said the group.

Among those who signed the statement were Saturnino “Daddy Ninoy” Mopas of Transport Network Vehicle Representative, Aylene Paguio of TAP, Lisza Buscaino-Redulla of CommuNITY Leaders Council, Gohan Nuguid of TNVS Individual 1 Alliance, Calvin Chloe Manalo of Unity of Leaders for TNVS Community, Walter Lugay Uy of the Philippine Metropolitan Transport Group, and Newell Garcia of the TNVS News Community.

The leaders of TNVS announced that they see for themselves that there is a constant shortage of vehicles for passengers and they emphasized that Pinoy commuters are relieved and grateful to the LTFRB for the new slots because it will surely help towards convenient travel within of Metro Manila.

The LTFRB resolution, signed by LTFRB Chairperson Teofilo Guadiz III and Board Members Riza Marie Tan-Paches and Mercy Jane Paras-Leynes, includes the opening of 10,300 new slots in Metro Manila and the provinces of Bulacan, Laguna , Cavite, and Rizal.

Explanation of the entire LTFRB Board, it is aware that the additional slots will help the TNVS to have an exact number that will supply the transportation needs of passengers.
