MANILA Mayor Isko Moreno issued a reminder to those who have recovered from COVID-19 to bear in mind that just because they have had it and survived does not mean that they could no longer get infected again.

Moreno gave the advice as he announced that 365 patients infected with coronavirus have recently recovered in Manila.

The mayor also advised the COVID survivors to also look back and review how and why they got infected in the first place and avoid committing the same mistakes all over again, so as not to get infected again.

Most of all, he urged the COVID survivors to learn from the difficulties they encountered while battling COVID-19 and holding on to dear life for at least 14 days.

Alalahanin n’yo maigi ‘yun and then you pick it up from there.

Meanwhile, 80,051 have so far been inoculated with their first dose under the city government’s mass vaccination program being rolled out under the supervision of Vice Mayor Honey Lacuna as head of the city’s health cluster.

Lacuna herself gives the jab for bedridden residents and those who are physically-challenged and are thus unable to go to the vaccination sites.
