Hidalgo is new PRO 3 director
CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga – Brigadier General Jose Hidalgo Jr. formally replaced Police Regional Office (PRO) 3 Director Brig. Gen. Cesar Pasiwen following a simple turnover ceremony led by PNP Chief General Rodolfo S. Azurin Jr. Wednesday afternoon.
Hidalgo was the former National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) Deputy Regional Director for Administration and will retire on July 15, 2025.
Pasiwen officially retired from the police force effective Wednesday after more than 33 years in service.
Pasiwen, in his speech, said he “thanked God, the PRO 3 personnel, his previous superiors, and colleagues” for the chance to serve.
“Though more than half a year may not have been enough to achieve all that I have set out to do as your Regional Director, still, I am fulfilled and happy in the thought that I have done my best and made every day of those less than seven months significant,” Pasiwen said.
Pasiwen, a member of PNPA (Philippine National Police Academy) “Sandigan” Class of 1994, was the second PNPA graduate to hold the top post in Central Luzon.
