Girl, 15, ‘hangs self’ on b-day
A 15-YEAR-OLD girl was believed to have hanged herself after her parents allegedly refused to allow her to go swimming with friends on her birthday Friday in Bgy. Pacang, Sta. Maria, Ilocos Sur.
A police report said the teener was a Grade 10 student and resident of Bgy. Pacang.
Police investigation showed the teener had asked permission from her father to go swimming together with her friends at Bgy. Silag.
However, the father allegedly rejected his daughter’s request.
At about 4:30 p.m., the teener’s father went to her room and saw her hanging with a nylon cord tied around her neck.
The teeners was declared dead on arrival at the Reyes Clinic and Hospital.
