P/BGen. Alfredo Kiwad Dangani, a member of the Philippine Military Academy class of 1995, is destined to become what he is today.

Straight from graduating from the premiere military institution in the Philippines, his road to success is not a walk in the park because, in Pinoy’s parlance, it was anchored on dugo and pawis (blood and sweat).

He finished his master’s degree in Public Administration at the Lyceum of the Philippines in 1995.

His studies didn’t stop there as he went to study and train abroad, thus pushing the boundaries of his role as a police officer.

Those further studies strengthened his forward-thinking approach and his proactive stance in combating emerging threats to national security.

Moreover, in 2007, he joined the Law Enforcement Competency training in Los Angeles, California.

In 2019, he bagged the Senior Police Commissioned Officer for Operations of the Year.

His leadership, without a doubt, has been marked by his unwavering dedication to his duty and unyielding commitment to upholding the principles of law and order.

From then on, he became assistant chief of the Firearms and Explosives Office (FEO) of the Civil Security Group, chief of Administrative and Resource Management (ARMD) and Chief of the Operations Management Divisions (OMD) within the same unit.

His expertise further emerged when he was named provincial director of the Kalinga Police Provincial Office (PPO) in 2017, Apayao PPO in 2018 and Abra PPO a year after.

He is now serving at Philippine National Police Academy as Chief of Staff since February 9, 2023.

Dangani, a doting husband and dad, never wanes in remembering that the wind beneath his wings are his wife, Aileen Bueno, and their three wonderful children.

Truly, his journey to success is a testament to the power of dedication, resilience and compassion.
