THE cream of the crop in junior golf will take part in the Junior Golf Invitational Fellowship presented by Oliver Gan at the Riviera Golf Club in Silang, Cavite on Sunday, Aug. 21.

Dubbed as Riviera-Oliver Gan Junior Golf Fellowship Invitational, the one-day event is limited to 60 participants only on a first-come, first-served basis.

Among the notable participants are Celine Abalos, Stevie Umali, Skipee See, Monique Arroyo, Shinichi Suzuki, Armand Copok, Stephanie Gan, Zach Villaroman, Jacob Gomez, Ryu Suzuki, Leandro Bagtas, Anya Cedo, Venice Tiamsic, Vince Tiamsic, Nicole Gan, Martina Oben, Tyler Zamuco, Ely Saludar, Viance Ngo and Manolo and Joaquin Degrano.

Highlight of the event supported by Xavier School and De la Salle Santiago Zobel School are contests with prizes and buffet.

Gan, who served as consultant for golf at the Games and Amusements Board (GAB) under Chairman Abraham “Baham” Mitra, teamed-up with Ivan Monsalve, Gab Manotoc and daughter Francesca Gan to emerge as champion in Division 1 of the inaugural Southwoods Pro-Am Invitational at the Masters course of the Manila Southwoods Golf and Country Club in Carmona, Cavite recently.
