ORION, Bataan–Out of pity of her lamentable physical condition, an engineer here has launched a fund raising to save the life of a six-year-old girl suffering from Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in barangay Gen. Lim, this town.

Although working in the United Arab Emirates, Engr. Jhun M. Lachica, appeals to kind-hearted people to help save the life of Angela Padilla Mailstrong, who is currently undergoing chemotherapy at the Bataan General Hospital.

Engr Mamitag said that the patient’s father is just working as part time painter and her mother is a helper of a carinderia, whose incomes are not enough to sustain the medical expenses of the young girl.

This has prompted Engr. Lachica to launch a fund raising in his bid to save the life of the Leukemia patient.

“Sa September 22 ako po ay uuwi para po pangunahan ang fund raising drive sa Sept. 23 at Sept 29,” Lachica told this writer as he seeks the others’ help to raise funds for the patient’s medical expenses.

Among the fund raising activities initiated by Lachica are “Bingo for a cause sponsored by Tau Gamma Phi and Alpha Kappa Rho on Sept. 23 (4 p.m.); to be followed by Basketball Exhibition for a Cause, Bulabog Selection Vs Gen Lim Selection; Basketball Exhibition for a Cause, Team Mark Vs Team Mikey and on Sept. 28, (8 p.m.) 2023, Zumba for a Cause by Gen Lim Zumba Girls.

“Ang mga activities po sa taas ay part po ng fund raising drive na bawat kalahok ay may entry fee kung saan ang malilikom ay mapupunta para sa Project Angela,” he said.

“Open din po kmi sa nga individual donation. Kahit ano man po yan gaya ng pagkain, gatas at ano pa. Cash donations po ay maari pong makipag ugnayan sa amin or pwede din po send thru Gcash Number 09155178689 under the name of Mark Anthony Luis,” added Lachica.
