CELEBRITY couple Derek Ramsay and Ellen Adarna are now in Peru where they’re celebrating their first wedding anniversary. The couple had a a sunset dreamy wedding on November 11, 2021 at Rancho Bernardo Luxury Villas and Resort in Bagac, Bataan.

Their present destination is Ellen’s surprise wedding anniversary gift to her husband (of one year) as the place is in Derek’s bucket list.

It was a whirlwind romance between Derek and Ellen who were neighbors then in Alabang where another celebrity neighbor Ruffa Gutierrez lives.

On January 11, 2022, Ruffa shared an intimate dinner photo at Derek’s house attended by Ellen, John Estrada, Ruffa and other close friends of the athlete-actor. That was the first time that the three neighbors got together.

Less than a month later, Derek and Ellen were seen in an out of town trip along with Ellen’s son Elias (by actor John Lloyd Cruz).

On February 4, 2021, Derek and Ellen became officially in a relationship and had their first kiss in Mt. Gulugud Baboy in Batangas and on March 30, 2021, the althlete-actor proposed marriage to Ellen which the latter accepted. In less than eight months after their engagement, the couple exchanged `I Do’s’ on November 11, 2021 in Bagac, Bataan.

Now, the couple is celebrating their first wedding anniversary in various places in Peru.

The couple have their respective sons from their previous partners. Derek has Austin (18) from his non-showbiz ex-wife Mary Christine Jolly while Ellen has Elias (5) from her ex-boyfriend, actor John Lloyd Cruz. But they hope to have their own baby or babies someday.

Robin hindi nakakalimot sa Viva

WE had a crazy schedule last Friday afternoon and we thought we won’t be able to catch up with the two other scheds because of the heavy traffic all over Metro Manila.

We came from our taping of “TicTALK with Aster Amoyo” in Pandan Asian Café in Scout Limbaga, Quezon City and after which, we had to rush to Boteyju in Estancia, Pasig City for Martin Nievera’s presscon for his upcoming 40th anniversary concert, “M4D” at The Theatre at Solaire on Saturday, November 19. Then we rushed to Viva office (also in Pasig) for the company’s 41st anniversary celebration and the unveiling of “Wall of Fame”.

Luckily for us, we caught up with former Viva’s action superstar-turned No.1 senator Robin Padilla who was with Boss Vic del Rosario in his office.

Boss Vic intimated to us how grounded Robin is through the years in spite of his present stature.

“Hindi nakakalimot si Robin sa mahahalagang okasyon ng Viva,” shares Boss Vic.

“The phenomenal senator,” Boss Vic blurted.

“No money, no (political) machinery and he just presented himself to the public kaya phenomenal ang kanyang panalo,” dugtong pa ng top honcho ng Viva.

Ang framed picture ni Robin ay isa sa bumubuo ng “Wall of Fame” ng Viva office throughout their 41 years of existence in the entertainment business. The actor-politician is/was among the homegrown stars of the company which include megastar Sharon Cuneta, Pop superstar Sarah Geronimo, Anne Curtis, Vice Ganda, Cristine Reyes among others.
