POLICE arrested a man and a woman allegedly involved in the killing of still unidentified victim whose body was stuffed inside a sack Friday evening in Taguig City.

Southern Police District (SPD) Director P/BGen. Jimili Macaraeg identified the arrested suspects as Gabby Ignacio, 24 and Bryjane Colot, 24, both of Purok 7 Brgy. Tanyag, Taguig City.

In his report to BGen. Macaraeg, Taguig police chief P/Col. Celso Rodriguez said the body of the victim was discovered at the garbage area in Purok 7 at around 7:30 a.m. Saturday by construction worker Jake Zeus Martinez, 33, and reported the matter to Chona Bilan, desk officer of Brgy. Tanyag.

Personnel of Taguig Police Sub-Station 8 immediately responded to the area and conducted follow-up operation that resulted in the arrest of the suspects.

Colot told police that prior to the incident, she invited the victim to a drinking session in their house after they met at Walter Mart at around 8 p.m. on Friday.

After consuming several bottles of liquor, the victim allegedly held Colot by her hand and asked her to have sex with him but she refused and went outside their house to seek help from Ignacio.

Ignacio confronted the victim until an argument ensued. At the height of their heated altercation, Ignacio choked the victim that resulted to the latter’s untimely death.

Ignacio and Colot decided to put the body of the victim inside a sack and dumped the body in a pile of garbage near their house.
