Corpse with bullet wounds found in Batangas

POLICE the other day reported a corpse of an 18-year-old male with bullet wounds in the back was found sprawled and bloodied on the grassy portion of the field in Padre Garcia, Batangas.

The victim, according to Padre Garcia police case officers PCpls Carlos Ebrahim M. Cuenca and Johnel E. Magmanlac, was identified as Nicko Hoseña y Fabella, a resident of Bgy. Pansol.

Bgy. Pansol Chairman Francisco Bathan discovered the lifeless body flumped at the grassy portion of Sitio Patik, Bgy. Pansol.

Case investigator PEMS Ronnie O. Arim said the victim sustained multiple bullet wounds in the back, was wearing a green basketball jersey, and shorts and slumped in a prone position when found.

Police said they recovered one slug for a caliber .45 pistol near the body of the victim.

Upon interrogation, police learned that the victim reportedly left home around 7 o’clock that morning to herd his goats.
