CRIMINAL Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) agents and Quezon police operatives on Sunday arrested a suspected on line scammer selling bogus annulment documents following a complaint from a Queźon Regional Trial Court judge and public school teacher in Pagbilao, Quezon whom she allegedly victimized.

CIDG- Quezon Provincial Field Unit head, Lt. Col. Ariel Huesca said Archie May Ramos 30, was arrested inside her house in Brgy. Mulawin, San Jose Del Monte City, Bulacan.

Huesca said Ramos was caught shortly after she received the P33,000 marked money during an entrapment operation at 12: 26 p.m.

He added the operation was carried out by his men along with elements of the Quezon Police Provincial Office under Col. Joel Villanueva and operatives of the San Jose Del Monte City Police Station.

Huesca said the lawmen seized 10 falsified annulment documents bearing the fake signature of the complaining RTC judge, a Samsung cellular phone, an Apple Iphone Color and 33 pieces of marked P1,000 bills.

The suspect was arrested after she received the money from a cop who desguised to be an uncle of a 29 year- old female public school teacher whom she promised to provide a court order for her petition for annulment without appearing in court in exchange for P77,000.

The teacher told this writer that she started transacting with the suspect on September 3 of last year.

“Nakilala ko po siya (suspect) sa Facebook account niya dahil nag- o- offer siya ng on line annulment application sa halagang P100,000. Nagtawaran kami at nagkasundo sa P77,000 na installment ang payment habang inaayos niya sa court”, said the teacher who resides in Pagbilao, Quezon.

Since then, the teacher said she started sending staggered payment through Palawan Express and G-Cash.

“Hanggang sa ang naging balance ko na lang po sa kanya ay P33,000 at sinabi ko sa kanya kamakalawa na iyon ay ipapadala ko sa tito ko, para makuha ko na ang mga dokumento na ipinangako niya”, she said.

When arrested, the suspect denied the charges but eventually admitted the crime adding that there were two other teachers whom she victimized, according to Huesca.

Huesca called on the other victims of the suspect to go to their nearest CIDG Office or PNP Anti-Cybercrime Unit or to the nearest police station and file their complaints against the suspect.
