Nagbigay-pugay ang Cannes Film Festival sa pagyao ni Jaclyn Jose na nanalong Best Actress sa naturang prestihiyosong international filmfest para sa pelikulang Ma’Rosa in 2016.

Sa Instagram account ng Cannes (festivaldecannes) ay nag-upload ito ng larawan ni Jaclyn hawak ang kanyang Cannes trophy.

“On learning of the death of Filipina actress Jaclyn Jose, the Festival de Cannes remembers her face beaming with emotion when she received the Award for Best Actress in 2016 in Brillante Mendoza’s Ma’Rosa,” bahagi ng caption.

“As with so many of her roles, she illuminated this beautiful portrait of a woman, embodying it with grace and humanity,” pahayag pa ng Cannes.

Si Jaclyn ang kauna-unahang Pilipino na nanalong Best Actress sa naturang international filmfest sa France.
