‘Battered’ Vietnamese rescued in Alaminos
A 30-YEAR-OLD female Vietnamese national who was allegedly “beaten” and with bruises on her body was rescued with the help of barangay officials in Bgy. San Ildefonso, Alaminos, Laguna, on Wednesday evening, January 25, 2023.
Alaminos Police said the victim was identified as “Nguyen Van Hau” and a resident of Bgy. Carmona, Makati City.
Based on the report of Alaminos Municipal Police Station (MPS), the victim said that she asked for help from barangay tanod, Christopher Jalmasco, at about 6 p.m.
Police said the victim went straight to her sister in Makati after arriving in Manila.
“Sa ‘di malamang dahilan at hirap sa pagtranslate ng English, hindi maipaliwanag ng biktima ang pangyayari,” said an investigator.
The victim only showed bruises and injuries on her body and was rushed to San Pablo City Hospital for treatment. Gil Aman
