THE Batangas Police Provincial Office (BPPO) headed by Provincial Director P/Col. Glicerio C. Cansilao and under the guidance of P/Brig. Gen. Antonio C. Yarra, Regional Director, Police Regional Office-Calabarzon (PRO-Cavite/Laguna/Batangas/Rizal/Quezon) underwent “Institutionalization and Evaluation Process Impact Validation” (IEPID) at Ginazel Hotel and Restaurant at Gulod Labac, Pastor Village, Batangas City, the other day.

The Impact Validators were led by P/Brig. Gen. Raul L. Bargamento, Deputy Director, Directorate for Plans, along with P/Col. Ercy Nannete Madriaga, acting chief of Staff/Legal Officer, Center for Police Strategy Management (CPSM); P/Brig. Gen. Noel A. Baraceros (Ret.), chairman, National Advisory Group for Police Transformation and Development (NAGPTD) and president of Bayaning Pulis Foundation INC., and other members.

Impact Validators aims to ensure that the contributions of the Batangas PPO are aligned with the Institutionalization Process of PRO CALABARZON. The Batangas City Police Station (PS) and the Mabini Municipal PS underwent the audit in this process.

The response of the validators to the audit was positive, but the formal result will be known at the revaluation held by CPSM members in PRO Calabarzon.

An audit like this is conducted as part of the “PNP P.A.T.R.O.L Plan 2030”, which aims to ensure that police programs are approachable and have a positive impact on the community to make the community safe to live, work, and conduct businesses.

“It is a good job for Batangas PPO to do well in this audit. The goal of the police is to bring police services and programs closer to the community. You can hope that we here at PRO Calabarzon will improve our service to you even more,” P/Brig. Gen. Yarra said. By Jojo Cesar Magsombol
