Batangas City offers free movie screening on Heart’s Day
BATANGAS CITY – Spectators thronged the free cinema offered by the city government at Plaza Mabini on February 12.
This is one of the activities prepared and attractions brought by the Cultural Affairs Committee (CAC) that aims to give pleasure not only to partners or lovers but also to the whole family for the celebration of Valentine’s Day.
This work also aims to help small businesses such as food and non-food businesses to earn income and local artists such as buskers and “superheroes” street performers.
Before the movie started showing, there was a game where the winners took home gifts and cash prizes.
The “Magkatuwang na Puso” dating game was held, and some select young people in the city participated.
The city government also prepared a romantic “Valentine’s Night” celebration with acoustic band performances on Feb. 14.
Attractions, food stalls, and performances will continue at Plaza Mabini until Feb. 28.
