‘Basag-Kotse’ gang hits teacher’s car in Nueva Ecija

MEMBERS of a “Basag-Kotse” gang on Thursday stole valuables from a teacher’s car in Nueva Ecija.

In a report to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr., the Nueva Ecija police identified the victim as Ramil Lozano, 43, a public school teacher residing in Purok 6, Bgy. Mataas na Kahoy, General Mamerto Natividad, Nueva Ecija.

Lozano told police he parked his white Isuzu Trooper with plate number XDK 270 unattended in front of Tugo’s Brother on Maharlika Highway in Bgy Abar 1st, San Jose City.

However, when he returned to his vehicle, he saw the passenger’s window broken and the two bags containing an Acer laptop worth P12,000, P40,000 cash, three cellphones, and assorted ID’s were missing.

The teacher immediately reported the burglary to the San Jose police.
