ACORDA HONORED BY PNP ACADEMY

PHILIPPINE National Police chief General Benjamin C. Acorda Jr. was honored by the PNP Academy with a grand testimonial parade and review last week at the PNPA headquarters in Camp Castañeda, Silang, Cavite.

In the event, PNPA cadets showed a perfect display of precision and discipline in honor Gen. Acorda’s exemplary leadership and commitment to the nation’s security and welfare.

In his speech before PNPA officials and cadets, the top cop underscored anew the importance of “Serbisyong nagkakaisa” or “Unity in Service.” Among all members of the police force and its training institutions.

Gen. Acorda likewise highlighted the significance of collaboration and unity among the police force, other law enforcement agencies, and the community in achieving the highest standards of public service and maintaining peace and order in the country.

The PNP chief expressed his gratitude to the PNPA headed by Major Gen. Eric E. Noble for organizing such a momentous occasion.

“I am truly honored and humbled by this testimonial parade and review. This event symbolizes the strong bond between the PNPA and the Philippine National Police, as well as our shared commitment to upholding the principles of excellence, integrity, and service,” he said.

The PNPA, the main source of police commissioned officers in the country took great pride in recognizing Gen. Acorda’s appointment as the 29th PNP chief.

Under his leadership, the Academy looks forward to fostering closer ties with the police force, promoting professional development, and continuing to produce well-rounded law enforcement officers who will serve and protect the nation with utmost dedication.
