4 honest QC cops praised
FOUR members of were cited for returning the money they found to the rightful owner during a routine roving patrol.
Quezon City Police District (QCPD) Director Brig. Gen. Redrico Maranan said PEMS Rodolfo Calma Jr., PCMS Jesus Chito Manaois, PMSg Ladislao Constantino at PMSg Marcial Marquez, all members of the District Tactical Motorized Unit (DTMU) deserved a pat on the back for the honesty and the display of service and dedication to duty they showed.
Report showed that policemen were on roving patrol EDSA in Balintawak when they noticed a blue plastic bag containing P30,000 and an identification card of a certain Edgar Osila.
They investigated and were able to trace the person at the Balintawak market.
It was learned that Osila was an errand boy used to collect money for the vegetable business of his employer identified only as Mrs. Bernardo.
The rightful owner expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the cops for their diligent efforts in returning the money.
