4 ‘drug peddlers’ collared in Batangas buy-bust
CAMP GEN. MIGUEL MALVAR, Batangas – Four street-level individuals were arrested in various buy-bust operations by operatives of the Batangas City Police Station (CPS) on Sunday, February 12, in Batangas City.
A report by Batangas Police Director Col. Pedro D. Soliba to P/Brig. Gen. Jose Melecio C. Nartatez, Jr., regional director, PRO Calabarzon (Police Regional Office Cavite/Laguna/Batangas/Rizal/Quezon), said the Batangas CPS personnel led by head cop P/Lt. Col Dwight F. Fonte Jr. first arrested the suspect at 12:18 in the morning and seized 1.22 grams of shabu valued at P8,418.
Around 2:30 a.m., two suspects were arrested in another buy-bust operation.
Seized from them were 1.30 grams of shabu valued at P8,970.
The 4th suspect was arrested in a buy-bust conducted at 5:15 a.m. on the same date and yielded a package of shabu and buy-bust money of P500.
“Let’s maintain order and peace in our province. Get rid of illegal drugs and any other illegal activities. It will only destroy your life, family, and friends. Let us obey the law to enjoy true prosperity,” said Soliba.
