2 suspects yield P1M shabu in Bulacan sting
BALIUAG, Bulacan – Two drug suspects were nabbed on Tuesday after claiming an imported shabu worth over P1 million in a controlled delivery operation inside a subdivision in Barangay Concepcion, this province.
The operation was conducted jointly by members of the PDEA Central Luzon, Clark Interdiction Task Group, and Bureau of Customs-Port of Clark and seized at least 152.9 grams of shabu worth P1,055,010 from the duo.
The shipment containing the illegal drugs arrived at the Port of Clark last May 10.
“The subject parcel emanated from New York, USA, and was declared as chocolates,” the PDEA said.
The two suspects will be charged with violation of Republic Act 9165.
